Typically, Post Docs are hired for a 12 month appointment that coincides with the Fiscal Year. For FY26, this would be July 1, 2025-June 30, 2026. Post Docs who have a start date different than July 1 will have the specifics indicated in their initial offer letter.
PHTX Post Docs should receive written notification by May 15 of each year indicating whether they will be reappointed for a new 12 month period or not.
All Post Docs should have an Annual Review and updated Mentor Contract and Reappointment Letter by about June 1 of each year.
